Ingredients
½cupmacadamia nuts
½cupcashews
½cuppistachios
1cupbrazil nuts
1cupdried pineapple
1cupdried mango , (chopped if needed, it often comes in strips)
⅔cupdried coconut flakes , (sweetened, unsweetened, toasted, or Thai coconut flakes - I used a combination of all)
Granola Clusters
3cupsold fashioned rolled oats
½cupwhole wheat flour
⅔cupbrown sugar
⅓cupoil
¼cuphoney
1teaspoondark molasses
½teaspoonground ginger
¼teaspoongaram masala , (found in the spice section)
⅛teaspooncayenne pepper
¼teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl combine all granola cluster ingredients and mix to combine. Spread out on a large baking sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Allow to cool, then break into clusters.
Combine granola clusters, and all remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir to distribute ingredients evenly. Store in airtight container up to 3 weeks.
Notes
Makes about 6-8 cups of trail mix. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
