Easy 2-ingredient grilled Jalapeno Popper Burgers topped with melty cream cheese, crispy bacon, and jalapeños! All of the jalapeño popper flavors you love in a juicy burger!
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings:4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, (I used lean)
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, , softened
  • 4-6 slices bacon, , cooked
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños, (see note)
  • optional: lettuce, sliced red onions

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-low. Combine ground beef and steak seasoning in a large bowl and mix with your hands until seasoning is well-distributed throughout the meat. Divide meat into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty. (See note)
  • Grill burger patties 4-6 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved.
  • Assemble burgers by placing one patty on a bun, then topping with cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeño slices. (Add lettuce and onions if desired) Serve warm, enjoy!

Notes

Use more or less jalapeños to personal taste. I prefer using pickled jalapeños because I like the briny taste and they aren't quite as potent. If you use fresh jalapeños, consider removing the seeds (where most of the heat is found) and grilling them for a few minutes.
Remember that hamburger patties tend to shrink on the grill so be sure to form the patty flatter and wider than you think you would need to! I think a 1/4-inch wider than your burger buns tends to be a good rule of thumb.
