Cook Time: 10 minutesminutes
Total Time: 30 minutesminutes
Servings:4
Ingredients
1pound ground beef, (I used lean)
1tablespoonMcCormick Montreal Steak seasoning
4hamburger buns
4ounces cream cheese, , softened
4-6slicesbacon, , cooked
1/2cupsliced jalapeños, (see note)
optional: lettuce, sliced red onions
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-low. Combine ground beef and steak seasoning in a large bowl and mix with your hands until seasoning is well-distributed throughout the meat. Divide meat into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty. (See note)
Grill burger patties 4-6 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved.
Assemble burgers by placing one patty on a bun, then topping with cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeño slices. (Add lettuce and onions if desired) Serve warm, enjoy!
Notes
Use more or less jalapeños to personal taste. I prefer using pickled jalapeños because I like the briny taste and they aren't quite as potent. If you use fresh jalapeños, consider removing the seeds (where most of the heat is found) and grilling them for a few minutes.Remember that hamburger patties tend to shrink on the grill so be sure to form the patty flatter and wider than you think you would need to! I think a 1/4-inch wider than your burger buns tends to be a good rule of thumb.
