Peanut Butter Frosted Brownies

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups flour
Frosting
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon milk, , half & half, or heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter, , softened
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with nonstick foil and spray well with cooking spray.
- In a small sauce pan melt butter. Stir in cocoa powder and vanilla. Pour mixture into a large bowl. Mix in sugars, eggs, salt and flour. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- In a medium bowl mix together frosting ingredients. Mix until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into bars and serve. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
