Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • zest of 4 limes
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, greek yogurt and mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, lime zest, and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized mounds onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until edges and peaks begin to brown slightly. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before removing from tray.
  • Combine the glaze ingredients and mix until smooth and pourable (add more lime juice if needed to reach desired consistency.) Drizzle over cooled cookies. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Flavor tip: Swap lime for lemon!
