Ingredients
1cupflour
½teaspoonbaking powder
⅛teaspoonbaking soda
pinch of salt
½cupbutter, melted
1cupbrown sugar
1egg
1tablespoonvanilla
vanilla ice cream
Maple Sauce
½cupbutter
¾cupbrown sugar
8ounces cream cheese, softened
1tablespoonvanilla extract
½cuppure maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until combined. Mix in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl to combine.
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Press into a greased 8x8 pan and bake 20-25 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Maple Sauce
Combine all ingredients and whisk over high medium-high heat until mixture is thick and creamy. Cream cheese should be completely incorporated with no chunks.
Cut the blondies into squares. Top with warm maple sauce and vanilla ice cream.
