Spicy Grilled Sweet Potato Fries
These grilled sweet potato fries have a little kick and are perfectly tender in the middle and crispy on the outside!

Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings:4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin wedges or sticks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Dipping Sauce

  • cup ketchup
  • cup mayo
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  • Add sweet potato wedges to a large pot. Add enough water to cover sweet potatoes. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork, then drain and pat potatoes dry.
  • Add potatoes to a large bowl. Spray heavily with cooking spray. Toss and spray again. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  • Carefully place potatoes on grill. Cook over high heat 10-15 minutes, turning once half way through. When both sides of the fries begin to char, remove from grill.
  • Whisk together all dipping sauce ingredients. Serve with fries.

Notes

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, my favorite is Fry Sauce (50/50 mayo + ketchup).
