This Homemade Buffalo Sauce Recipe is easy, quick, and so delicious! Skip the store bought buffalo sauce and make your own delicious sauce at home.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, just barely melted
  • ¾ cup Franks Hot Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, optional but recommended

Instructions

  • Stir together all ingredients.
  • Allow to cool and thicken for 30 minutes.
  • Serve immediately or cover tightly and store in fridge up to 1 week. Gently reheat in a sauce pan over lowest heat setting on the stove.

Notes

Hot sauce: Frank's Hot Sauce has a distinct flavor and is my top preference for buffalo sauce. You can use other hot sauces but the heat level and flavor may vary.
