Course: Salad
Cuisine: American
Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 5 cups baby arugula
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • ¼ red onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup toasted, shaved almonds
  • ⅓-½ cup goat cheese crumbles to taste
  • ⅓ cup crumbled bacon see note
  • 1 cup creamy balsamic vinaigrette dressing https://www.lecremedelacrumb.com/creamy-balsamic-dressing/
  • 1 cup diced grilled chicken optional add in

Instructions

  • Toss together arugula, strawberries, onions, almonds, goat cheese, and bacon.
  • Toss salad with dressing just before serving, or serve on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

Bacon tip: to save time (and spare my kitchen from the mess and smell of cooking bacon) I love using bacon bits in salads, just microwave them for 20-25 seconds to get them warm and extra-crispy!
