Kebab Beef Recipe

This Kebab Beef Recipe is one of those back-pocket dinners I come back to again and again. They’re made with a simple, pantry-friendly marinade, take just minutes on the grill, and deliver juicy, flavorful steak every single time. This is a tried-and-true method I’ve used for years, no complicated steps, no overpowering ingredients, just well-seasoned beef cooked exactly the way it should be!

Cook Time20 minutes
marinating time10 minutes
Total Time1 hour 45 minutes
Course: Appetizer, Main Course
Cuisine: Asian
Servings: 3 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cubed steak
  • ½ tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • kosher salt to taste
  • cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large zip-lock bag, combine the diced steak with the rest of the marinade ingredients. Season generously with salt and pepper and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 6.
  • Prepare the grill with an area of high heat and an area of low heat.
  • Thread the steak onto skewers and sear on the area of high heat until a good crust has formed. Then, move them to the area of low heat to cook until the internal temperature reaches 145F for medium rare meat.

Notes

Adding vegetables - Don’t be tempted to cook any vegetables on the same skewers as the meat, as they will take a lot longer to cook properly so cooking them together will result in undercooked vegetables or overcooked steak!
