Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Chicken

So, we bought a house this summer right? Our first house. Well, now it’s winter and around here it snows a lot. You see where this is going don’t you? I woke up the other morning to about 5 inches of snow. Problem 1: we have a downward sloping driveway=can’t back my little car out when there’s a slippery mess reaching from the road to my garage. No biggie, just shovel the driveway! Problem 2: no shovel. Ahhhhhhhhh, we haven’t bought a snow shovel yet, we’ve never needed one!

Thankfully I found a little metal shovel in the driveway and was able to (somehow) carve a path for my car to back out. On the way home I stopped by the store and bought a snow shovel. And it’s a good thing because it snowed all. day. long. and there was another three inches on the driveway by dinnertime. Now I’ve got a clean driveway and one really sore back. Oh the joys of winter!

One of the real joys of winter is cozy comfort food! I love hot meals on a cold, snowy day. Especially when it involves fettuccini noodles, slow cooked chicken, and creamy cheesy sauce! This recipe was so easy and delicious! I gave my husband a few options to choose from the other night for dinner, and this idea I found on is what he picked out. So glad he did because this turned out to be amazing! This Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Chicken is perfect for a day when you just want an easy, delicious dinner. Throw it in the crock pot, set it and forget it til dinner time! Yum!
