Here in northern Utah we are finally enjoying Summer. After the longest and rainiest Spring I remember, I was starting to worry it would be one of those years when it snows mid-June. (aka: the worst)  Thankfully true Summer weather did show up at long last and now we are maximizing every minute of it. Between afternoons at the splash pad and road trips tall over the state, we have been ending our days beyond ready for some quality Zs.

My kids have really jumped on board the Moon Milk bandwagon, and although I’m pretty sure it’s fifty percent their love of anything that delays bedtime a few more minutes, I’m okay with it because of my love of anything that gets another cup of real, nutrient-rich dairy milk into their bellies.

My twins outgrew bottles before bedtime a couple of years ago, but now they are enjoying their warm milk at night alongside baby sister, especially if I throw in a few fun add-ins like honey, cinnamon, and in this case, peaches.

Peach season is a big deal in my house. Peaches were my favorite fruit all through childhood and still sit at the top of my list, and I always daydreamed of having a peach tree in my yard some day so when we found this home a few years back and it already had one young, but sturdy peach tree growing in the side yard, it felt meant to be.

I know the kids are as excited as I am about the fruit this year because I’ve caught them a few times picking rock-hard, green peaches off the tree and seen a few on the ground with bite marks. Bless their hearts. The wait is hard! But so worth it. Pretty soon the branches will be heavy with ripe, juicy peaches and you know a good portion of those will be devoted to whipping up Peaches n Cream Moon Milk.

If you haven’t tried moon milk yet, this is the perfect place to start. The combination of sweet peach, a kick of cinnamon, and a hint of that almond extract, makes this Peaches n Cream Moon Milk simply irresistible. And I bet you wouldn’t say no to a night of better sleep and sweeter dreams, am I right?
