Honey Mustard anything was definitely high on my list things you couldn’t pay me to eat when I was  younger. Mustard? It’s supposed to be zesty with maybe a little spice. Not sweet. Right? Wrong. Most things in life could use a little sweetness. Mustard goes well with a bit of sweet. My grown up palate has come to that conclusion. My mother will be proud.

The only thing about eating a fantastic healthy salad with grilled chicken and veggies and all of that good-for-you stuff is that if you cover it all up with fattening dressing, it kiiiiind of takes you back a couple of steps you know? That’s why I love whipping up my own dressing that are lower on the guilt scale, but still score high on the tasty scale. This Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing definitely fits the bill!

Could you use coconut milk yogurt for a dairy-free version?

I think that would work! It will probably change the flavor a little bit though.

Hi CheyAnne, I’ve kept it up to 5-6 days, just give it a good shake once a day to help everything stay blended. 🙂

I had a hot bacon honey mustard at a restaurant and would love to re-create it. I know of course that it would up the calorie count but could I add a little bacon dripping to this and warm it ?

    1. Tiffany says:

That sounds amazing! I think bacon drippings would be a fabulous addition and you can definitely serve it warm!

This is gorgeous! I make my own honey mustard by blending mustard grains, vinegar, water, and honey. And I love the idea of adding the Greek yog! So smart! pinned
