Just because Christmas is “officially over” doesn’t mean that cookie season is. I bake cookies all year round.   Plus, New Years is coming up and we always have scads of cookies, brownies, pastries, pies, and other desserts to munch on allllll night long. My family is a big fan of sugar treats. And options. You will never see just one dessert on the table at our family gatherings. We have six or seven, at least. I think we had eleven on Christmas Eve. Like I said, we like our desserts, and we like our options.

These are the best cookies I ever ate!!! Easy to make & soft, tasty, YUM!! If you love peanut butter, you will love these!

What type of oats. Is quick cooking fine?

I haven’t tried this recipe with quick cooking oats, traditional old fashioned rolled oats work great though. Quick cooking oats tend to be a little more bitter so I would add a tablespoon of sugar to the batter if you do try it out! 🙂

Yum these cookies are really good. My kids loved them. I used quick oats as that was all I had and they still turned out well
