3 Ingredient Valentines Day M&M Fudge - Creme de la Crumb

Fudge is a wonderful thing. The densest, most concentrated form of chocolate. I don’t have a favorite because, well can you really narrow down all of the incredible variations of fudge in the world to just one single all time best? You can’t, you just can’t. Which is why I really really like Sweet Aftons.

Sweet Afton’s is a candy shop. They have allllll the good ones. The oldie-but-goodies, like every flavor of salt water taffy imaginable, rock candy, and the really big original malt balls… and all of these new-age sweet stuff like Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans (don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about). Annnnnnd fudge. Lots and lots and lots of heavenly fudge. And the best, my ultimate favorite… the sample bags. Every day they make sample bags of all the different fudges that are being sold that day. It’s like a treasure chest of fudgey wonderfulness!! I don’t have to choose between them and I end up with all sorts of crazy-delicious flavors.

No two sample bags are the same and each experience it totally unique. One time, I found a piece of M&M fudge in my sample bag. Sounds simple right? M&M’s stuck in white fudge. But oh my word it was amazing! I didn’t expect anything special but I was blown away! I don’t know what it was about that fudge but it was just sooooo good! It’s been a little while (too long!) since I’ve been to Sweet Afton’s and it’s been on my mind lately. So much that it inspired this Valentines Day M&M Fudge. The greatest part is that it only requires 3 ingredients! It’s easy peasy, delicious, and so festive! Of course you can switch it up for any holiday and change the colors but don’t you just love seeing the red, pink, and white together? So Valentines-y.

where do I buy UNsweetened condensed milk? I have only seen sweetened condensed milk in the grocery stores where I live. Is there something else I should use?

Hi Michelle! I’m so sorry for the confusion, that is a simple typo. The recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk. I don’t even know if there IS unsweetened condensed milk!! Haha! I’ve fixed the recipe. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! 🙂
