Expert Tips

  • Use kitchen tongs to easily and safely flip the chicken while it is in the air fryer!
  • The beauty of chicken thighs is that they are less likely to get overcooked than chicken breast. So if you want them extra crispy, you can cook for a few extra minutes!
  • You can use bone-in chicken thighs if you’d like, but generally they are thicker and will require a bit more cooking time! If you aren’t sure how long to cook chicken thighs in the air fryer, my recipe is a good starting point. You can check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to make sure they are cooked to at least 165 F!
  • If you prefer to use chicken breast, follow my air fryer chicken breast recipe instead!

These just might be my favorite way to serve up chicken thighs! Perfectly seasoned, cooked til juicy, and served in a brioche bun with my favorite chicken sandwich toppings (spoiler alert: lots of pickles!).
